Panthers Continue In 1st On The Floor And Poll

The Panthers in week 5 of the fan poll have certainly shown their strength with the win in the Panther Den over the visiting Rockets.  The Panthers collected 3 times the number of first place votes than their closest rival had.  And here is the real key to the overwhelming victory in the poll, only one voter thought the Panthers were the 3rd best in the area.

Limestone took second place again this week but with less than half the total points the Panthers collected.  Manual made it into the top by collecting over twice as many votes as Richwoods who had been a steady top 3 performer until the PIHT.  PND was right on the heels of the Knights.

To all the voters I say thanks and please continue to share with all your fellow forum readers your knowledge and insight. Only two votes were pitched because of leaving the required numbers off.  The FANBOYS are realizing their crap isn't playing in Peoria so they becoming fewer and fewer.

All we need is about 8 more quality voters and we be on the same level as the USA Today, CNN, and ESPN poll which has 31 coaches determine the best in the entire country.  But we are going to stick to the M-I and the M-S five.

Here is how the 22 voters cast their ballots.
Keep in mind, first is worth four points, 2nd is two points, and third is one point.
